Who wishes to review my website?

Written by General Seo on Oct 30th, 2010 | Filed under: Backlinks

Hi Guys. I am pleased to announce that I have my very own social networking website but, I wish to hear about the views of my target audience which of course is everyone. Basically, I am receiving website traffic but not as fast as I would expect. Personally, I don’t find anything wrong with the site in terms of design so I’m a bit baffled as to why traffic is slow. I’m beginning to consider getting a proffessional to do a SEO for me because I wish to attract alot of website traffic. I have done many things like joining in forums, writing articles, blogs, opt in emails, google adwords, creating links & backlinks basically everything & yet, traffic is pretty slow.
Therefore, I wish to hear your reviews about my website & suggest what other method there is to getting website trafffic. Also, if you know of professional SEO to trust please do tell because how I see it, I think that SEO is the best way forward in attracting tonnes of traffic.

Anyway, I better stop rambling & the link can be found at http://www.ichatrr.com.

Many thanks & much appreciated

Adam

  1. You really need to get some perspective here. First of all, no matter what promotional method you apply you are not going to see worthwhile ROI (monetary or in terms of new active members) unless your site offers something truly unique that none of the other social networks have. Unless you have a million dollar ad budget or you are the greatest viral marketing genius who ever lived, you basically do not want to start a social network unless it is in a very specific niche market.

Forget about SEO at this stage. In fact, forget about promotion. Cater to a specific market, and work on creating content and/or features that makes people want to return to your site. And then start to think about promotion. If you don that, you will be running uphill until you give up. Don’t want to sound rude, but it’s the truth.
