Which one is better to refer either alexa or google page rank?

i am getting good Alexa ranking for my website and there is no change is Google page rank as it was before i:e 2, and i have indexed website in many directories also, still there is no change in PR .
i have done SEO for my website and worried cause of Google PR.
can anybody suggest me regarding this

Google page rank is given more important then any other ranking. Alexa ranking depend upon your work done for your site on daily bases. If 1 day happen you were not able to work in your site , alexa ranking of the site will decrease were as Google ranking depend upon your back link.As many quality site get link to your site your value get increase which side by side increases the ranking
Only google Page rank is better.
because alexa is depending on your daily traffic. and google depends on your backlinks.

The reason you are not seeing any update in your PageRank is because you are observing the public or "toolbar" PR. Google does not update this very frequently -> there’s no schedule, they just sort of update it when they feel like it. That being said, it’s constantly changing behind the scenes. So your site’s PR, or more correctly, your homepage’s PR (it’s PAGErank ya know ;P) has definitely changed, it just cannot be observed so plainly.

Just concentrate on google page rank, improvement in your website’s google page rank will indirectly increase your traffic and value in search engines considering your website has good content and follow white hat seo techniques. While Alexa ranking is of least importance than google.
Neither, both are sources providing incomplete and inaccurate information. You can use them for benchmarking purposes along with other metrics. Focus more on other metrics and their results in no particular order
1. Number of visitors per month – increase
2. Bounce rate – reduce
3. Time on site – increase
4. Pages viewed per visit/visitor – increase
5. Sources sending traffic – increase
6. Pages indexed in google – check
7. No of broken links – correct
8. 404 errors – reduce
9. Wrong redirects – correct
10. Fresh content – add
