What do you think of the so-called "Prosperity Gospel?"?

Written by General Seo on Feb 28th, 2010 | Filed under: Link Popularity

The Prosperity Gospel is the idea that faith in God can make you rich in the monetary sense.

This seems like wrongheaded and pernicious nonsense; if you read through the Bible, most of God’s prophets and disciples were dirt poor.

Why is it popular? Because people want to believe that God / Jesus wants them to be materially wealthy. They’re wrong.

  8. "Jesus wants you to be rich, so don’t call me a hypocrite when I ask for $24.99 to send you a pamphlet on how to wish really hard for lots of money."

  9. I think with the invention of television the whole prosperi
