someone has used my email and sent out an email to most of my contacts telling them (I) bought a cheap iphone at this website www.tiseby.com and they should check out the website also. Another website this person mentioned was *www.lgnikon.com*
It’s probably easier to just ignore it. It’s common these days to have spammers borrow the email addresses of innocent people — it’s happened to me twice.
Most people will realize it’s not you, and you can explain it to the rest if they complain.
However, this kind of problem is exactly why you should be a little careful giving your real email address to questionable web sites. Some of us make a habit of maintaining a personal email address that is never given out to any web site or vendor, and another one (or 3) that we use for web sites and registrations, etc.
