    Building links manually is a time consuming exercise and you’ll have to carefully select your back linking campaign. Basically get a few quality back links rather than waste a whole lot of your time on building weak back links that will not even move your site’s ranking on search engines.

    There best ways to build quality back links for free is:

    Comment on sites, that deal with the same topic that your site deals with. Note that you should add value to the site that you’re commenting on and don’t spam.

    I have had a couple of sites on top 3 of Google by commenting on quality sites.
