How to play 2 player games with another Ti-84+ Graphic Calculator using a link?

As per above – I have a transfer cable link for inter-calc, but still couldn’t play 2 player games. Is that because I am playing games that were built for 83?
Or alternatively, could anyone suggest any games that are multiplayer for 84+.

The TI-84+ can support two possible connection types—the I/O cable and the USB cable. I’m assuming you mean you have the USB cable, correct?
If so, then that’s usually the case; a lot of games that have multiplayer support were made for the TI-83+, because it also shares the same I/O port. It’s mainly just for compatibility, I’m assuming.
While I wish I could suggest to you some multiplayer games, sadly, most of them are really only for TI-83(+). Since that was the most popular calculator back in the day (and perhaps still is), it would make more sense for developers to write programs compatible for them, instead of the (slightly) less used TI-84+. But try browsing in the following directories, and maybe you’ll get lucky at finding a game that can support both:
