I have a website and it’s rank in google pr is 0. How to increase this.

i need to increase my blogs page rank for free. can anyone tell me how to increase it for free!

For a example, say I want to create a website that ranks high in Google, Yahoo and Bing organic search for John Smith. Will it make any difference if I reserve the domain name johnsmith.com vs john-smith.com? Will the first one score higher in search ranking than the second?

Also do I want it to be in the number #1 spot or #10? What does all of those numbers of 1-10 mean in Google’s page rank ? When was the last time Google even did a page rank? Did they do one last month? How long before my blog gets a rating from google? Is it going to be at least 6 months before it happens?

I noticed that there are some websites with lower page rank sometimes Page Rank 0, placed higher in Google Results compared to those with higher page rank.
