What is a good subject to write about Marketing?

Written by General Seo on Nov 16th, 2010 | Filed under: Email Marketing

Hello,

I am taking an introductory college course in Marketing, and one of my assignments is to write a 10 page report on any subject matter of Marketing of my choice. The ‘catch’ is that I have to interview someone about this subject. I have been trying to think of something but cannot. Can any of you with expertise on Marketing guide me to a good topic that will lead to a 10 page report, and an interview? I was thinking of how American companies do business to promote their products overseas, but some of the big name fast food restaurants I emailed said that due to confidentiality issues they could not assist me with this. Thanks.

Anyone ever heard of IDI Marketing?

Written by General Seo on Nov 15th, 2010 | Filed under: Email Marketing

I got a email from IDI Marketing asking me to apply for a loan and they would deposit the money directly into my checking account. I was wondering if anyone has ever used this company before and is it safe?

Got a serious idea and wanted to bounce it off of an open-minded Yahoo manager or exec. Who to go to? A name and email would be a good start for now. Thanks.

How can I impress my boss on a marketing project involving the creation of a list of potential customers?

Written by General Seo on Nov 13th, 2010 | Filed under: Email Marketing

I have a huge list of people and their positions in the company they work for. Most of the companies are not-for-profit and the people on the list are generally in executive or leadership positions. My job is to compile a list of their contact information, specifically their email and work phone number. I would like to go above and beyond his expectations of the project. One possibility I have thought of is also inserting a little sentence about how the comapany can benefit from our service. I am new to the company and it is a small stat-up: I would like to make a good impression, but considering the length of the list, I need to consider how I can make it quality work and manage to complete the task in a reasonable amount of time. Any suggestions at all are welcome and I appreciate all positive responses. Thanks a lot.

Should I buy an opt in email list?

Written by General Seo on Nov 12th, 2010 | Filed under: Email Marketing

I have two websites that I just started to make money on from doing affiliate marketing and I have heard that buying an opt in email list from a reputable company is the best way to start making even more money and getting traffic. For anybody who has experience with this already, do you recommend this? Thanks!

How can I advertise to a specific clientele using email?

Written by General Seo on Nov 10th, 2010 | Filed under: Email Marketing

I would like to send emails to specific people in public schools whom I believe would like to use my seminar. My question is, how do I do that? And, perhaps a second question, how would I gather the names of these people. For example, I would like to market my seminar to those people who specifically deal with special needs children. How do I gather the names of the people who work with these children, and, how do I send them an email with my seminar and sign-up information in it?

Internet/Affiliate Marketing : What if I don’t want to create a website but instead email ads?

Written by General Seo on Nov 10th, 2010 | Filed under: Email Marketing

Where do you get the advertisements to email? I can’t put the words together very well because this is a bit confusing. ‘m assuming you get in touch with a company, they give you the advertisement and you distribute it via email. I am probably wrong, so if you know, please teach me, it would help so much. Thank you.
From my other question: What I really want to know is: Do you have to invest some amount of money at all to become successful in this business? I do have some money but it seems risky and i can never tell when a site is a scam or not. Do the guides that some websites offer really help? This info would be greatly appreciated.

what is the best to avoid that emails sent from a server don't fall into the spam box?

Written by General Seo on Nov 9th, 2010 | Filed under: Email Marketing

We have a website and we have many subscribers, we have started to send them newsletters and email marketing emails but most of them are going straight to the spam folder of my members, more than 60% of the emails.

Is there anyone who knows a way to avoid or at least reduce this number?
Thank you for your answers
