A dating ad was placed on craigslist with my picture embedded. The content of the ad was written by me, but a few months ago. Does craigslist sometimes duplicate ads and post them weeks or months later? Someone at work knew that I was involved in posting dating ads.. she does not like me and has already been spying on my Facebook. I ended up deleting all networking sites due to privacy matters. Maybe she copied and pasted my ad on craigslist because she knows I am back in a relationship.

Ok so my room mate and I decided to get 2 iphone 4G’s yesterday (it’s amazing btw!) and well, I wanted to put music on it from his computer since his computer is just overflowing with actual purchased itunes songs. So anyway, i plugged my ipod in and it suddenly says ‘Sync in progress’ which I am familiar with. Then Itunes says "backing up Iphone 4G" so I was like, hmm cool cool. Then I checked my Iphone and all my roommates’ apps were on my fone, so I’m very confused. What does backing up mean? And along the way itunes said copying twitter, notes, etc. I have a very thorough and highly confidential notes on my Iphone, does that mean my roommates computer basically created a duplicate of my iphone contents? How come when my roommates’ iphone was plugged it didn’t do the same, it basically just synced and did not get any of the apps I originally have on my iphone? PLease help! I have a strong feeling that my notes are wandering on my roommates computer. HELP! THANKS IN ADVANCE!

We got a big package in the mail the other day. I haven’t opened it yet, but the contents as well as the purchaser are listed on the package.
It is a picnic table for my kids ordered by my step-mother. They already have a picnic table. And I’m unsure about how to handle this. My dad and his wife live out of state and have no way of knowing that we already have one.
What do I say to my Dad when he calls? Do I tell him we already have one and risk hurting his feelings?
I can’t get rid or the old one because it was also a gift.
Again…. I CAN’T get rid or the old one!!! It was a gift from his other grandparents.
And I can’t just not mention it. It would be terribly rude to not thank them for it either way.
shadowtalker1- I really can’t get rid of the old one. My Mother got the other one for my son last year at my suggestion along with the matching sandbox. I think she would be _very_ hurt if I just got rid of it.

Duplicate Content
So I know that if somebody duplicates your content, their page usually won’t rank as well as your page because your page is the first one with the content on it, the original. But what if your site is down for a few days and Google crawls the internet and finds your page missing but the person who copied your page still has their page up with your content on it? Does Google then treat their page as the original?
I mainly ask because I have a website with lots of articles on it that I wrote. But I may not be able to pay my hosting for another 2 weeks, so my website may be down until then. I can see lots of people have copied my articles and reposted them all over the internet. So I’m worried what will happen.

I have searched a lot on this issue and i am not satisfied!
The article i wrote is now distributed in various article directories and i have even posted it in my own blog. Now tell me…..every website/article directories including my own blog i have that one particular content but all the links refers to my blog….so is this a duplicate content? Article marketing and posting in various article directories the same content ….when all the link is reffered to one particular website then i dont think its duplicate content What Say?

Can someone please tell me what search engines think when, someone including me puts articles on their site that come from free article directories. Is it considered duplicate content.. Or do they see that their is a article source with author name with it. And that makes it OK.I’m Very confused about this, with the fact that search engines don’t like duplicate content.

I have a blog and i update my articles daily. Sometimes when i write something good then i post them in my blog and in the article directories too. Now how will Google and search engine will see this? A duplicate content or not? Like when i post one article in several article directories then Google doesn’t read it as duplicate content because may be the links goes one particular website or the because of the author name and website. Hence, assuming this i did so now do u thing its okay or i sud remove my post from directories if will be read as a duplicate content. Further more, the links given to those articles come to my blog. What u pro say?

What "program" is most reliable for removing "duplicated" files on a PC?
I need to "safely" remove or locate all "duplicated" files on my computer after recently running "file transfer wizard". I transferred my important files for study from my laptop running Windows XP Pro to our desktop running Vista Home Basic. Now I am finding several of the same file in various places all over! Is there a program I can use to "safely" remove all duplicated files? And I specify "SAFELY" because I don’t want to eliminate files that have similar names but not the same content.
