First of all: I’m sorry if this is the wrong section, but I believe Search Engine Optimization is the best section for this topic.

I’ve created a small backlink tool which allows you to get about 145 extra backlinks to your site.
The tool uses a list of websites where you can manually submit an URL. For example http://whoisx.co.uk/yoursite.com

This page automaticly has a backlink to your website. When a search engine spider crawls that website, it will find the backlink.

The application uses a file called links.dat. You can manually add new links or remove unwanted links with any texteditor.

Backlink Finder is a free application and 100% malware & virus free. Please note there might be some minor remaining bugs.

I have a website and i did the link: command in Google only to find i had no-one linking to me. Then i went to the Yahoo site explorer and it returned 890 backlinks. What does this mean? Surely if i have 890 backlinks then Google would show me this information too? Where can i check the correct number of backlinks i have in total? thanks

I am sick of taking 1 hour ever day submitting to maybe 15 sites if I am lucky when I could press 1 button each day and submit it to 100 +. It’s a time saver and it will get me 85 more backlinks per day and a lot more traffic.

So i am developing a new website for myself through a company provider. Lets say i work for geico insurance. I am able to create a personal agents site that can either have my own personal domain

www.abc.com

OR i can choose a subdomain of geico.com like

www.geicoabc .com

However the main ww.geico.com site would not have any backlinks going to my site there for not improving my page rank…

So which domain should i go with and why??

I have two new web sites that I have put online within the past two months, and I’ve submitted them to search engines and I’ve been building up quality backlinks. I would like to submit them to directories but I can’t seem to figure out how to do that, or where to get a list of all the directories I can submit to. Anytime I look this information up on Google, all I find is services that charge 0++ for 40 directories. Is there any tips/suggestions that anyone can give me or will I be forced to invest a bunch of money getting my websites listed.

I checked my backlinks on several backlink checking sites, and it shows that the PR of every site linking to me, has a PR of zero. I checked the page where my link reciporicates, and there’s no PR. But the main index of the site shows 4.

Since the PR of the site that links to me affects my PR, or so I’ve read, would Google consider the main index’s PR or link page’s PR?

I ask because I have 96 sites linking to me and when I type link:my site in google, it shows zero

Is it worth buying backlinks or is it just best to slowly build them up?

Any help for promoting my adult toy site would be great.
