ages ago i purchased a domain then a while later i decided to change it, so i put the old one a 301 page to redirect to the new domain. that was ages and ages ago, so how long should i keep this 301 in place to save all my backlinks and things? i want to remove it now but im worried about loosing links.

Hey I was wondering what a "backlink" was.. I searched my site on google ranking and it said there was not enough backlinks. My website is Funvoo.com

I am pretty sure I have backlinks I just don’t know what they are.

Also google is not indexing all my other 200 pages. Do i need text? If so like a paragraph or just two lines?

I have a blog, and doesn’t have enough traffic, I know I have to do a lot of SEO in order to get more traffic, but first I have to get the backlinks to be an authority in my niche so google would show me at least in the first page of the search result page. How To get BACKLINKS for my website

I know that article submissions are the best way to get backlinks. I was wondering if brad callens Free Article Submitter is a good article submitting software to use. I was just wondering because people have been telling me that using his software works pretty good.

I just bought a great new domain ($X,XXX) and I want to optimize it for SEO. But I know that it takes a while before Google trust new domains even if I get good backlinks. So I was thinking about buying a 2 or 3 years old domain with PR3-4 in the same niche and then 301 redirect it to my new domain.

Would that help building quick trust from Google so I could start SEO sooner?

I’m building a site with a few different sections, and I’ve decided to put these different sections in subdomains.

Doing some research, it seems a popular theory is that Google considers subdomains as a completely different website to the main domain (albeit, on the same IP).

My question is, would one way links from my subdomain to my main domain, have the same value as a one way backlink from a completely different site?

It also raises the question of whether Google really does care about links between sites on the same IP.

Opinions?

I have submited my artricles everywhere and started my website about a week ago. I understand that i need to give it sometime but there are still no backlinks. Dont give me a list of things i can do because ive heard it a million times and have done all of it. I was wondering if there was a site which posts an article or backlink to a number of high traffic sites?
