I want to optimize my site by backlinking and submitting my articles to a lot of article directories but I don’t want to get reports on having "duplicate contents" because I posted one article to a lot of directories. What should I do? Or should I rewrite my article to every directory that I’m submitting it to? Thanks…

I understand that the more backlinks you have the better your ranking. Is there any other thing google looks at to place you higher on its search engine? The phrase i’m trying to compete for is "Free iMac", I’m currently #12. I want to at least be on the first page.

I just got involved with a networking company my family is involved in. It is NOT a MLM which is awesome–basically everyone has a capped paycheck, and everyone can make as much as everyone else. I’m just giving you the basics, email me if you are interested, but the AVERAGE BUSY PERSON with this company spending 1-2 hours per day roughly (7-10 hrs per week) makes 6 figures in 3 years. Like I said it is not MLM, where some people earn more than others simply because they are higher on the ladder, and also you will get the same commission for what your direct connections do as well as your indirect connections, which is huge. The company has 57 straight quarters of double digit growth. It is legit, it has fantastic products itself (such as a DNA sample analysis, where scientists make you a cocktail of supplements to strengthen any weaknesses in your DNA, and is partnered with thousands of companies (target, best buy, circuit city). I’m wondering if anyone is interested in more info?

I want my SEO company to be more aggressive, but feel they are B.S.-ing me into believing that 4 links per month is acceptable. This is for an automotive repair facility that currently has 140 inbound links. The URL has been registered for 12 years and also only has 10 indexed pages.

If I decide to take this article down and post in on my own site will Google consider it duplicate content and will it not rank as well or not be put on Google’s search because it is duplicate????

If you have an article on the 1st page of Google at the number 5 spot, how many backlinks to that article must you get to move it up?
