Is anyone interested in designing an internet density map?

Written by General Seo on May 28th, 2010 | Filed under: Backlinks

This map, I am speculating, will be spatial and have all topics on the internet in clusters like the world lit up in the night and seen from a satellite. Where there is more activity there would be more light. This light could be related to the number of page hits, or backlinks, or bytes of data or a mixture of all. It could be a map of the world wide web, spatially so that people can get a sense of where the most activity is and try and see the diversity of topics as well. A lot of people could get involved in this project. (or has this already been done? : p I guess not. There is an internet traffic report for networks but this would be different.
Thanks, If so whats the link please? And just because its there doesn’t mean it can’t be done better. After Yahoo there was Google. At any rate its not popular, while like google earth, it should be

I'm building a website and want to link to other websites… do I have to get permission?

Written by General Seo on May 28th, 2010 | Filed under: Link Building

Hi,

I’m making a website that is kind of like an online cv.

I want to put a link up (including the logo) to the website of the places where I did work experience.

Am I allowed to just put up the link and logo – is it a kind of free-for-all? Or do I need permission?

Thanks!

K

How do I become more popular on deviantART.com?

Written by General Seo on May 27th, 2010 | Filed under: Link Popularity

Here’s the link to my site: http://limegreenipod.deviantart.com/

Well, I tried joining groups, watching a lot of people, favorite-ing a TON of pictures. ALL so that more people can see my pictures.

I don’t really care for the popularity by itself. I just want my artwork to be seen by others.

Truthfully, do I have good pictures? Or are they just part of the so many "nobodies" on dA?

And I do realize that my gallery isn’t that large. I just don’t have that much time on my hands right now. And the weather is icky so I can’t go outside and become inspired.

Thanks.

Do the number of clicks to one's site directly increase Google pagerank?

Written by General Seo on May 27th, 2010 | Filed under: Backlinks

Backlinks do….everyone knows this. But is there any evidence that mere visits increase pagerank? Where can I find this evidence? What other factors, other thank quality backlinks, are PROVEN to increase pagerank?

At my last leg for a short paper I'm writing on a piano recital… can anyone help me find more information?

Written by General Seo on May 27th, 2010 | Filed under: Link Popularity

I’m trying to find more information about these pieces, as far as history goes and what meaning they had to the composers. I can’t find anything through search engines. The most info I have is on the first piece because of its popularity. The second, a scant and short Wikipedia article on the pieces’ tempo markings. The third, hardly anything at all.

Sonata in F Minor, Op. 57 by Ludwig van Beethoven, also known as "Appassionata"

Klavierstücke, Op. 118 by Johannes Brahms. My teacher hinted to me that this was composed and possibly inspired by the French revolution, but I can’t find anything on it. Maybe she meant this next one.

From Préludes, Claude Debussy. (Les Collines d’Anacapri, and Feux d’artifive).

If anyone could link me to any good sites pertaining to these pieces, I’d be much appreciative!

How to configure Google apps so as to enable anyone to register on my website?

Written by General Seo on May 27th, 2010 | Filed under: Google

Only Administrator can add email accounts in Google Apps.

Should I ask the website visitors to give the required information ( Including p/w)? And then myself register them and ask them to change their password?

It would be better if there is a way to make them enable to register through the regular form.

Can anyone help?
