I would like to promote by homebased business by sending marketing emails. I would like to know the effectiveness of these emails by tracking whether the email is read or deleted without being read or whether the user clicked on the link in the email etc.
(I know the Delivery and Read receipt option in MS Outlook. I am looking for something better)

I’m considering the option of listing my website in the Yahoo! Directory. Before handing over 9, I’d like to know if it still has high value to search engine algorithms. I have heard that DMOZ.org has lost a bit of value recently, with the advent of social bookmark sites. If that is true, has anyone heard the same regarding the Yahoo! Directory?

I get around 1500/2000 hits a day, and with my site being new I expect it to rise more, I was thinking of Google AdSense Ads might make some money for me but I don’t know if it would be worth it or not. How much money could I make?

despite Y!answers’ teams’ efforts to have this site clear of nonsensical questions n answers, like the -2 point rule for every question asked, i dun think it helped much. in fact, nonsensical questions are asked by nonsensical pple, n do u think these pple will actually think b4 posting a nonsensical question? i dun even think the points matter to them, they juz wanna haf some fun. instead those who do really think b4 posting a question to save their 2 points are those who are quality askers n answerers, but now the activity n popularity here is really decreasing, im sure those who started earlier can see. i myself are one of those who are lessening their activity, e.g posting questions. even logging in less often now.

plz check the link i included. it is an answer given by someone nicked ‘yielding’, totally ridiculous. i really want to know what Y! answers team will do to rectify this problem.

p.s. i used to log in everyday, but only occasionally once a fortnight now.

I have looked into getting an aweber account but it appears has if that is more set up for autoresponders. I have forms on my website already, and do not want to us third party autoresponders. I will be manualy typeing in email address for certain categories that I will be marketing to (I already know the business that I plan to target, so this is a very targeted mailing). I need to be able to put, lets say, 100 email address into each category with a total of about 25 categorys. I want to be able to send an html pre typed message to each cateogry, which as far as content is already done. Do you have any suggestions what would work best. Thanks ~Dustin
