Email marketing service like aweber but pay-per-email rather than monthly fees?

Written by General Seo on Mar 24th, 2010 | Filed under: Email Marketing

Hi,

I’m looking to run small email campaigns – few subscribers, infrequent mail-outs. Because of the small scale I don’t want to pay aweber’s per month minimum, but instead pay per email. Can anyone recommend a good service with 1) high delivery rates, and 2) open & click statistics?

Thanks

VLOOKUP in Excel and way to find duplicated string in rows?

Written by General Seo on Mar 23rd, 2010 | Filed under: Duplicate Content

Hello,
I have Sheet1 like this:

A B C D
1Element: Content: Duration: End Time:
2(list)
3

The idea: In A2 I select Element from Elements list. With VLOOKUP I get "Content:" from cells next to my Elements list. Again with VLOOKUP I get Duration from cells next to Content. And End time is sum from mm:ss, starting from 00:00 AM.

The Problem:
1) VLOOKUP doesn’t return always correct Content and Duration. My formulas look like this:
Content:=VLOOKUP(B2,$H:$I,2)
Duration:=VLOOKUP(C2,$I:$J5,2)

2) I tray ti format Duration cell in different ways (mm:ss,…) but always doesn’t sum it correctly.

3) I look for way to check and return "1" in some cell, when there are duplicated strings in "Content" cells

The final look:

A B C D
1 Element: Content: Duration: End Time:
2 a 001 ad, fg, m 16:23 00:16:23 AM
3 b 001 w1, fr, gp 10:00 00:26:23 AM
4 a 006 x1, b3, ad 05:00 00:31:23 AM
Att! You have duplicated string(s): ad

Thank you in advance for your time.
Hi,
thanks for spending time with my question :)

So, I correct VLOOKUP- It’s work on 100%.

Next step- time sum. I change format to h:mm:ss on all cells, but VLOOKUP for duration now work only on the first Element (a 001 Duration=VLOOKUP(C3,$I:$J5,2,1)
a 002 Duration=VLOOKUP(C4,$I:$J5,2,1) ).

About the duplication- the check should be in "real time" and I can’t change look or sort of cells.

Today I’m with dummy head… :-s

What companies pay to advertise on your website? Is Google AdSense worth using?

Written by General Seo on Mar 23rd, 2010 | Filed under: Adsense

I have a semi-profitable website/store. It gets a decent amount of traffic and I’d like to make some money advertising.
I see Google’s Adsense program and am going to give that a try. Has anyone had any luck making money with Google? Are there other similar programs by other companies?
I don’t want to waste my time or gunk up my site with things that are not profitable.
Thanks!!
